In the 80’ Giuseppe e Dominique purchased a country estate with an old farmhouse in Umbria, in Melezzole, Todi.

It took several years to restore it and in 1986 they started to live in it for the first time.

There the family gathers from Milan and Rome.

In this comfortable and warm country house Giuseppe spent much time working, drawing, receiving many friend and taking part to some farm activities such as picking olives and fruits or walking in the woods.

Giuseppe designed every single detail of the house along with his friend architect Umbro Lavagna and Dominique.
For the reading lamps he used a square travertine stone for the base, a copper firemen nozzle and a lampshade. The logo of the Pretino appears on the kitchen tiles, the fabric of the sofas and the curtains with trees as well.

In 2005, Studio Picone ended its activity in Rome and moved here in the countryside in the Pavillon, it becomes our Archives (Archivio). Here are all the original silkscreen frames for serigraphy, many fabrics produced during the years going, ceramics and paintings.
